Role and contribution

As one the two Danish PI on EPIC, Dr Tjønneland contributes to InterAct in WP1.5 through supervision of the locally stored EPIC samples for EPIC Denmark.

Scientific profile

Anne Tjønneland, MD, PhD, has extensive knowledge within the fields of methods for dietary assessment in epidemiologic studies, lifestyle and chronic disease epidemiology. Since 1996 she has been the head of the "Diet, Cancer and Health programme", and she is the head of Department in the Institute of Cancer Epidemiology at the Danish Cancer Society.
