Role and contribution

Professor Hallmans is PI of the Umeå and has overall responsibility for the case ascertainment and verification in Umeå (WP1.1, 1.2) and the provision of samples from the local biobank (WP1.4).


Scientific profile

Professor Hallmans is senior researcher acting as PI for the Medical Biobank, Umeå University. Member of the steering committee of the EPIC-project (European Prospective Investigation into Cancer and Nutrition) since 1998.
